Cecilia Mae Rugloski

Services will be held March 26, 2012 in Bend, OR, at St Francis of Assisi Historic Catholic Church (Downtown Bend Corner of Lava and Franklin): 12PM Rosary/Visitation 1PM Mass followed by 2PM burial at Pilot Butte Cemetery. Mae LaMere was born April 26,1917, Dresser Junction, WI to Robert Stewart LaMere and Cecilia Mary Thompson. She married Andrew Lawrence Rugloski, August 28, 1937 at St. Patricks Church, Long Lake, Centuria, WI. Mae and Andy moved from Cedaredge CO to Bend OR in 1983 where in 2001 they celebrated their 64th anniversary; Mae returned to Cedaredge in August 2011 to live with her daughter, Mary and her son-in-law, Dale. Most of all Mae loved spending time with all her family and friends. Her favorite hobbies were painting landscapes, wildlife scenes, and flowers; making flower cards; and gardening. Mae also volunteered many hours at the Catholic Daughters and The Society of St. Vincent de Paul. Survivors include four sons, Robert Rugloski and wife Katie of Camp Verde AZ, Raymond Rugloski and wife Carolyn of Florissant CO, Richard Rugloski and wife Mary of Gordonsville VA, and Paul Rugloski and partner Pam of Anchor Point AK; two daughters, Joan Cranmer and husband Morris of Little Rock AR and Mary Parker and husband Dale of Cedaredge CO; 16 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren. Mae was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Harold; and her husband, Andy. Memorial contributions to Colorow Care Center (750 8th St., Olathe, Colorado), the Servants of Charity (16195 Old U.S. 12 Chelsea, MI 48118), Daughters of St. Mary of Providence (4200 N. Austin Ave. Chicago, IL 60634), or the Pious Union of St. Joseph (953 East Michigan Avenue Grass Lake, MI 49240). The 6 pallbearers carrying the casket will be Maes 4 Sons: Robert, Raymond, Richard, and Paul Rugloski and the sons of Maes 2 daughters, Kyle Cranmer and Seth Parker. Honorary pallbearers will be Sons-in-law, Morris Cranmer, and Dale Parker and the Grandsons: Rob, Bryan, and Billy Rugloski, Berkley and Andreas Rugloski, Roman Rugloski, Mark, Vince, and Alan Valenti.
