Margaret Frances Stolz

Margaret Frances Stolz passed away on Saturday, January 12th. She was 91 years old. She will be buried in Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Colwich, KS, next to her husband, Robert Lawrence Stolz, who passed away in 2013 at the age of 88. Both Marge and Bob enjoyed Bend and all that it offered. It was the best place they could have been for the last years of their lives. This tribute is simply to say a huge thank you from the Stolz family to so many folks who enriched our parents lives. Maybe it was a smile, a "hello-how are you," a prayer, Communion, flowers--too many gestures of kindness to mention. But, dont underestimate how important they were to our mother, father and family. We are truly grateful for that love and support. Thank you to the community of Bend. Special thanks to: The staff and administration of Cascades Living Group, the assisted-living facility where our parents were so lovingly cared for. The entire staff is amazing. We are very grateful for their wonderful and joyful caring of Mom and Dad. Our parents lives were certainly enhanced by their attention and care. We're proud to have been a member of their assisted living community. Thank you to Partners in Care Hospice and all their caregivers who helped make Mom's life better in her last days. Truly wonderful people. Thank you to the staff of Anthony's, Phoenix and Pine Tavern restaurants. They always made Mom and Dad feel special. Thank you to the Holy Communion Evangelical Catholic Church community, especially Fr. Radloff and Joan Walsh, everyone there who showed such love to our parents. Thank you to the many friends who brought a smile to Mom and Dads faces by simply saying hello and inquiring about how they were doing. We will also remember the ducks in Drake Park that quacked for Mom and brought her hours of joy. Both Mom and Dad lived loving, adventurous lives. They traveled the world. We are truly blessed to have them as parents and role models. Margaret and Robert are survived by their 5 children: Judith Mari (Ronald K.) Parks Robert Joesph Stolz Carol Ann (Robert) Million John Lawrence Stolz Richard Lee Stolz 2 Grandchildren: Robert Samuel (Becca) Stolz Sawyer James Kennebeck Stolz While both Margaret and Robert will be missed, their smiles, memories and spirit live on. Rest in Peace, Mom and Dad The funeral for Margaret Stolz is on March 9th at 12pm in Colwich KS at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. A memorial mass is planned for January 31st at 4pm at Holy Communion Church. Donations in Margaret's memory can be made to Holy Communion Church, Partners in Care Hospice and Cascades of Bend assisted living.
