John Charles Roberts

John Charles Roberts was a Mighty Man of God. John's passion and love for Jesus Christ was evident in everything he did. He was a man that wanted the Good News of Christ to be shared by everyone and to everyone. John ministered everywhere he went! He went to the Philippines for a month and spread the good news of the gospel. He preached at a number of churches around the country and out of the country. John was funny, loyal, hardworking, a true friend, loving father and a very special husband. I was blessed and honored to be his wife. When John and I got married on the 4th of July, 2012, John told me "In five years, we will have done more and lived life more than most couples who have been married 25 years." He was right! John had great faith. He always sought God before making any decisions and then faithfully prayed it through. His accomplishments in his life were always accredited to the Glory of God. In his faith walk he honored God. The Lord placed a desire to learn to fly a plane. His hope and dream were the ability to fly people and families who needed medical attention for free wherever they needed to go. Becoming a pilot and owning a plane (which was totally God) was a very special accomplishment for John and glory to God! I have wonderful memories of flying down the highways and byways on the back of the Harley or soaring through the skies of the Cessna with John always praising our Father! When John relocated to his new residence, he left behind so many people that he loved and that loved him. John left a heart imprint of all of us forever the love of Jesus. We will see him and be together in a blink of an eye. John and I share three amazing adult children and their families - Ben Roberts (Kristen Roberts), Bryce Roberts, Camryn Roberts and Lincoln Roberts. Destiny Roberts Lawerance (Kalvin Lawerance) Jayden Herdado. Robert Martini (Stacy Martini) Zara Martini, Sam Martini, Margot Martini. Sister predeceased - Kathleen Roberts. Brother Don Roberts (Yolonda Roberts). Sister Irene Hayes (Bob Hayes). Sister Arlene Roberts Woody (Dan Woody). Brother-in-law Richard Cardoza (Corrine Cardoza). And lots of wonderful nieces and nephews. John's celebration of life will be June 7, 2025, 11:00 a.m., at our church Word of Victory, 645 SE Salmon Ave., Redmond, Oregon 97756. Continued celebration at our home starting at 1:00 p.m. at 2462 Osprey Dr., Redmond, Oregon 97756. We will have a Taco Truck with food and beverages. If you knew John, you knew how much he enjoyed Tacos! Come and celebrate and honor this mighty man of God and the wonderful impact he had on all of our lives. Glory to God!
