C. P. Niswonger began his service to the families of Deschutes
county in 1911. The foundation that he built his reputation upon - total reliability - remains

C. P. Niswonger moved to Central Oregon in 1907, and started Niswonger-Reynolds Funeral Home in 1911.

Niswonger-Reynolds was sold to a New Orleans company during a time when large national
chains had been buying up small, family-run funeral homes throughout the country. Read

In 2004, Jerome and Dawna Daniel published the announcement
of their purchase of Niswonger-Reynolds - once again making Niswonger-Reynolds a family-owned funeral home.
